Cell Phones In School: The Good, The Bad, And The Ugly [POLL]

From a Parents perspective I could not even imagine the constant nightmare of trying to teach a class when a majority of the kids have cell phones on them.

Admittedly, our kids have cell phones ages 11-14, and according to them they leave the phone in their lockers, or If they have it on them it is turned off. We went back and forth about allowing them to bring them to school for this very reason (see picture at left)

But, now that they are getting older and staying after school more or going to a friends house before coming home, it seems to make sense so we can keep in touch.

Looking back I wonder how I survived in school or even College for that matter without a cell phone? Oh yeah, it was called using a payphone!
