Chipotle Restaurants May Have Been Hit By Data Breach

Chipotle may have been hacked, so if you have used a card there recently you may want to keep an eye on your bank statements. 

In a statement released on Tuesday, The restaurant detected unauthorized activity on the network that supports payment processing for purchases made in their stores. They immediately launched an investigation with cyber security firms, law enforcement, and their payment processor.

No word on what restaurants were affected yet, but they are looking into transactions from March 24, 2017 through April 18, 2017. They have also implemented extra security and the unauthorized activity has stopped. They will continue to update their website as more information comes in.
