City of Duluth Looking for Musicians to Perform at Chester Bowl

Before you know it the warm weather will return, or warm for us anyway, and it will be time again for the Chester Creek Concert Series.

The City of Duluth is starting the process of looking for performers to take the stage sometime during the series which runs June 11th through August 20th.

The city says the "application process has been designed to be open and welcoming to all those who wish to apply."

The online application will require the bands to enter some questions and submit samples of their music via mp3 or video. No live auditions are required and the selection committee will pick the bands by the end of March.

Selected bands will get $250, sound equipment for the performance is provided by the city and the bands get the opportunity to play in front of 300-800 fans.
