Come and explore Lake Superior Zoo and meet one of the Zoo's resident frogs. There will be fun activities including a coloring contest where kid's will have a chance to win a FrogWatch USA plush animal, plus kids will have the chance to make their very own frog masks. If your hungry grab a slice of pizza or nachos at the cafe and get a FREE scoop of mint or rainbow ice cream, plus get 10% off regular priced items in the gift shop (members get 15% off!).

All donations made during this event will go to the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) FrogWatch initiative. So what is FrogWatch? " FrogWatch USA is AZA's citizen science program and provides individuals, groups, and families opportunities to learn about wetlands in their communities by reporting on the calls of local frogs and toads."

Frogs and toads play an important role, serving as both prey and predator, in wetland ecosystems and are considered indicators of environmental health, through this program along with Zoos and Aquariums we can all work on the preservation of this very important animal.
