Legendary Rock Band Joins 2025 Minnesota State Fair Lineup
The Minnesota State Fair is still more than six months away, but planning for the 2025 edition is well underway. Another major act has just been added to the Grandstand lineup.
Rock Legends to Take the Stage
The Minnesota State Fair has already announced two major acts for the 2025 Grandstand: Old Dominion and Melissa Etheridge with the Indigo Girls. Now, a legendary band from England will bring their iconic sound to the fair.
This band has sold over 110 million albums, is a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee, and performed a large stadium show in Minnesota just last year at Target Field. Any guesses?

Def Leppard Returns to the Grandstand
It was announced today that Def Leppard will be one of the headline acts at the 2025 Minnesota State Fair. The British rockers will take the Grandstand stage on Tuesday, August 26.
Tickets for the show will go on sale starting at 10 AM on February 14 through the Minnesota State Fair website. Ticket prices range from $77 to $292 for reserved seats, while party deck tickets will cost between $154 and $169. This makes it the most expensive show announced for the 2025 fair so far.
A History of Rocking Minnesota
This will mark Def Leppard’s third appearance at The Great Minnesota Get-Together. They previously rocked the Grandstand in 2015 and 1993. I was at the 1993 show, and all I remember is that the opening act, Ugly Kid Joe, was absolutely out of control.
Def Leppard also performed in Minnesota in 2022 with co-headliner Mötley Crüe, along with opening acts Poison and Joan Jett & The Blackhearts. Def Leppard loves Minnesota, and Minnesota loves Def Leppard, so there is little doubt this show will sell out. If you want to go, act fast!
