What a great opportunity to introduce kids to the theater. One of the most beloved children’s characters is hitting the stage in Minnesota later in 2025.

Dog Man is one of the most popular franchises for young readers, with a hugely successful book series, an upcoming movie, and now a live musical. The stage production will have a limited run, with just five shows at the Pantages Theatre in Minneapolis.

Dog Man: A Hit with Young Fans

Based on the best-selling Dog Man books by Dav Pilkey, Dog Man: The Musical will be performed on December 6th and 7th, 2025. There will be three performances on Saturday at 11 AM, 3 PM, and 7 PM, followed by two on Sunday at Noon and 4 PM.

A Family-Friendly Theater Experience

The show has a runtime of 90 minutes, including an intermission, and is recommended for children in grades 1 through 5. Dog Man: The Musical is a hilarious and heartwarming production that follows Dog Man as he tries to save the city from Flippy the cyborg fish and his army of Beasty Buildings.
