The annual summer tradition in Downtown Duluth returns with three days of food, shopping, and fun coming to the downtown area in mid-July!

As in years past, this year's Sidewalk Days stretches along Superior Street, running from Lake Avenue to 5th Avenue West. Retailers will bring merchandise and some great deals to the street with a fun, fair-like atmosphere.

Along with shopping, there will be a variety of festival foods, music, activities, and entertainment for the whole family throughout the duration of the event, which is 9 am to 5 pm Wednesday, July 12 through Friday, July 14 this year.

One of the highlights each year is the Sidewalk Days is the YMCA Sidewalk Shuffle 5K, which happens at noon. The walk/run event is open to individuals and teams with funds going to benefit programs and resources at the YMCA.

Another benchmark event is the Kolar Chevrolet Buick GMC Cadillac Classic Car Show, which will be held on Wednesday evening. The show gets underway at 5 pm, and runs through 8 pm, located in the area from 5th Avenue West to 3rd Avenue East on Superior Street. There will also be live music, including Centerville All Stars, Darling Danger, Lake City Smokin' Section, and Virgil Caine Band.

Some other fun to look forward to includes the Duluth Children’s Museum Imagination Playground, kids inflatable obstacle course near the Minnesota Power building, and of course lots of great deals, food and drinks, and fun!

The week is capped off with the annual street dance, which heads a block up from Superior Street. From 6:30 pm to 11 pm, party the night away with live music, food trucks, and giveaways on First Street at Aces on First.
