Duluth Airshow Seeks Community Organizations to Work 2022 Event In Exchange For Funding
The Duluth Airshow returns to Duluth July 16 and 17 featuring an impressive performance lineup that includes the United States Airforce Thunderbirds, A-1 Skyraider, MIG-17, KC-135 demo, Shockwave Jet Truck, Vanguard Squadron, United States Air Force F-16s, stunt performers and more.
Tickets are on sale now and as everyone eagerly awaits all the action, Duluth Airshow organizers are looking for more organizations to volunteer and work at the 2022 event.
It's not only a chance to watch the show free, but the Duluth Airshow will make financial contributions to organizations who do sign up to help.
Knowing that volunteers are crucial to their success, organizers are once again making this nice incentive available.
We’re thrilled to give back to our community! Groups who volunteer at the Duluth Airshow, presented by Essentia Health on July 16-17 will receive a donation to their organization. The more volunteers you have in your group, the more funds your organization will be gifted!
Having gone to the Duluth Airshow several times over the years, I've seen first hand how much fun the volunteers can have at the event.
If you're in an eligible group or organization, I wouldn't hesitate apply.
The Duluth Airshow also recently made an exciting performance lineup announcement. The show will now featuring a B-52 Fly Over, something organizers are pleased to secure.
"We've spent the better part of 3 months trying to have this aircraft physically on site as a static, but unfortunately the taxiways are not wide enough to accommodate the external wing landing gear," said Ryan Kern. "Our friends at Barksdale AFB were able to pivot and provide us with a fly over which is the next best thing."
Whether there a volunteer or a spectator, the 2022 Duluth Airshow promises to deliver another memorable weekend in Duluth.
