KDLH The Duluth CW announced this weekend that they will be launching 5 new channels in the coming weeks for the Duluth area.

Four of the sub-channels, Justice, Laff, Escape and Quest will hit the air May 1st and Court TV will launch May 8th. You may need to rescan your channels on your TV to get the new channels added and you'll need to check with your cable or satellite providers to see if it's available.

As a cord-cutter, I applaud the move to add more choices for people who don't have cable or satellite anymore. Here is a list of the new channels and what you can expect:

  • Justice Network {3.2} – Justice Network is a 24/7 broadcast television network that entertains and informs its viewers with gripping crime and investigation programming while making communities safer. Justice Network provides a first-of-its-kind public service initiative that helps catch fugitives, find missing children and provide safety tips for its viewers.
  • Laff {3.3} includes such shows as Home Improvement, According to Jim, That ’70s Show, Grace Under Fire and Night Court. Check out the full lineup at www.laff.com.
  • Court TV {3.4} – For nearly two decades, Court TV brought high-profile courtroom dramas into American living rooms. Continuing that legacy, Katz Networks is rebooting one of the most iconic brands in television history. The new Court TV is devoted to live gavel-to-gavel coverage, in-depth legal reporting and expert analysis of the nation’s most important and compelling trials.
