Free Burritos in Minnesota for National Burrito Day 2025
This week we celebrate one of the best food items ever invented: the burrito. Minnesota has plenty of great spots to grab a burrito, and here are a few places that will give you a free one this week.
When is National Burrito Day?
Thursday, April 3rd, is National Burrito Day, and you'll have the opportunity to score some tasty burritos at a great deal as several national chains celebrate the day.

QDOBA Has 27 Minnesota Locations and a Tasty Deal
With 27 locations across Minnesota—and as one of my personal favorites—QDOBA is offering customers a free burrito when they purchase an entrée and a drink on April 3rd.

To get in on the deal, you’ll need to be a member of QDOBA's rewards program. The offer is only valid in-restaurant and only on April 3rd.
Chipotle’s Burrito Vault Is Back
Chipotle, which has over 70 Minnesota locations, brought back its Burrito Vault promotion. It gives you a shot at unlocking a Buy-One-Get-One offer, if you can crack the code.
This digital promo runs until 11 PM CST on April 2nd through the Chipotle app. It's inspired by word games like Wordle. You can play at UnlockBurritoDay.com for a chance to win.
Chipotle is also offering free delivery for Chipotle Rewards members who order through their website or app on April 3rd.
Taco Bell’s Burrito Deal is... Just Okay
Taco Bell, the biggest chain on this list, isn’t going all out for National Burrito Day. According to Cheapism.com, if you “make a run for the border” on April 3rd and spend $15 or more, you’ll get a free $2 burrito.
It’s a small deal, but maybe Taco Bell has something else planned. Keep an eye on their app just in case they drop a surprise offer.
Burrito Lovers, Mark Your Calendars
Whether you're in Duluth, the Twin Cities, or anywhere in Minnesota, National Burrito Day is a great excuse to grab a deal and enjoy one of the world’s most perfect food creations.
