Brand New 2-Night, Multi-Genre Music Festival Coming To Minnesota This Summer
I feel like the Summer of 2026 is "The Summer of Music" as the number of concerts coming to Minnesota is bigger than I can ever remember.
Going along with the long-running tradition of events like the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand music series, the Minnesota Yacht Club festival, the new Minnesota Country Club festival, and the opening of the brand new Mystic Lake Amphitheater (with nearly 40 shows announced for this summer), there is a lot of live outdoor music to look forward to.
That already huge list just got even larger, as a brand new two-day music festival just got announced for Minnesota this summer. This two-night event will also feature different music genres, with one night dedicated to country music and the other night being more of an alt and pop rock theme.
It's called "Hilde Amplified", and it is something the City of Plymouth is putting on this summer. The Twin Cities area suburb's foray into a big live music event will happen on Friday, July 31, and Saturday, August 1, 2026.
The first night of music will feature country music, with a lineup of stars that includes the following names:
- Brett Young
- Ashley McBryde
- Rodney Atkins
- Matt Stell
Saturday night will venture into the alt and pop-rock world, with headliners Third Eye Blind and lovelytheband both announced so far, and more acts to be added to this lineup soon.
The music festival will be held at the Hilde Performing Center, which is located at 3500 Plymouth Boulevard, behind the City Hall/Public Safety Building in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Tickets for this 2-night festival are available for either day individually or as a 2-day package. They can be purchased through the City of Plymouth's website.
Prices range from $29.65 to $309.65 for Friday and $29.65 to $154.76 for Saturday. Two-day passes start at $144.15.
If you're looking for even more live music, the most buzzworthy summer music opportunities in Minnesota seem to be at the new Mystic Lake Amphitheater in Shakopee. Here's a look at the more than 35 shows announced for their 2026 inaugural season.
