Olympic curler John Landsteiner from Mankato, MN was born today. He competed at the 2014 Winter Olympics.

Biz Markie's biggest hit 'Just a Friend' finally reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified platinum. The song samples Freddie Scott's 1968 hit 'You Got What I Need' and it classified Biz as a one-hit wonder.
