Huge Barbecue Chain Shuttering Locations Nationwide
Another major restaurant chain is making changes to their business model and axing locations nationwide.
Many major chains and retailers have scaled back this year, closing locations nationwide, including in Minnesota and Wisconsin.
This includes major restaurant chains, like Red Lobster for example, and even retailers, like rue21, who closed every single one of their locations over the summer, including their Duluth store.

The latest national business making changes is Dickey's Barbecue Pit, which specializes in meat, like ribs and chicken wings, and delectable sides.
According to Eat This, Not That! Dickey's is the largest BBQ chain in America but cut about one-fifth of its footprint over the course of the past year, closing about 100 restaurants nationwide.

A list of closed locations was not shared at the time of writing but there is good news! The same report says the company doesn't plan to close any of its other locations that remain standing at this time.
As of now, there are five Minnesota locations still standing, including stores in the following cities:
Eden Prairie
Mankato
North Branch
Eagan
Edina
As for Wisconsin, there are two locations still standing: one in Kenosha and another in Middleton! There used to be a location in Hermantown but that closed for good a few years ago. Now I am hungry.
