Duluth-Based Company Selling Cool Spring-Loaded Beverage Insulator
I was walking around at the Arrowhead Ice Fishing and Winter show when I spotted what looked like a mega insulated can koozie. They were called 'Stack Em', and I had to check them out.
We spend a lot of time in our Minnesota summers at the lake or at the campground. Naturally, we enjoy sipping on our favorite cold beverages. That's where the idea of this Stack Em came from. I met the founder of the company, Andy, who was at the lake and wished he didn't have to stop floating in the water to get another beverage. He came up with the design for a spring-loaded can insulator. Andy is from Duluth, Minnesota! I thought it was cool that someone local came up with this great idea!
The Stack Em can fit two 12-ounce or 16-ounce canned beverages simultaneously. The double-insulated, vacuum-sealed container is patent pending.
I can see the best application for this is when we go out on a pontoon ride and one beverage just isn't enough to go around the lake. Instead of having to lug a cooler with us, we could just bring two at once in a Stack Em!
The price varies depending on if you want artwork etched on it or not. They can range from $34.95 to $44.95. They will soon be offering a slim can designed Stack Em too!
