Guy Fieri Names His Top Restaurant In Wisconsin
This is something I totally get behind. Guy Fieri is famous for traveling around the country filming his Food Network hit and he's been to both Minnesota and Wisconsin quite a few times.
He's even been to the Duluth area a handful of times, stopping by famous places in the Zenith City, Cloquet and even across state lines in Superior!

It's always fun when you see an episode that was filmed not only in the state but really close to home. He loves certain places here so much, he's even gone twice.
A few years back, he returned to Gordy's Hi-Hat and the Duluth Grill, along with a handful of other spots. He must have had a serious craving!
Guy Fieri Chooses Minneapolis Pizza Place As Favorite DDD In Minnesota
Recently, the television host picked one spot that he loves more than any other in Minnesota! He chose Pizzeria Lola, a few hours from the Duluth area. This is the spot he loves more than any other in the state.

I guess if any Northland restaurants have to lose out, losing to an epic pizza place isn't so bad. He also recently named his top five favorite spots in the state as a whole, in case you're curious.
This Is Guy Fieri's Pick For The Best Wisconsin Restaurant Featured On DDD
While the star hasn't shared his top five Wisconsin restaurants featured on Diners, Drive-Ins & Drives just yet, he has chosen one spot time and time again on his 'best of' lists so it's clear he has a favorite.

This spot also happened to be my very favorite restaurant in the area before it abruptly closed around this time last summer. Yup, i'm talking about Shorty's! I am still not over it.
Shorty's Pizza & Smoked Meats Named Guy Fieri's Wisconsin Favorite
I scoured all videos on the Food Network YouTube channel and Shorty's appears more than any other restaurant. Shorty's appeared on the top five pizzas in Triple D history, too. It's clear this is his favorite.
No other restaurant is mentioned nearly as much as the now defunct restaurant. Sigh. I never thought I would have something in common with Guy Fieri. Maybe he can help bring it back one day - a girl can dream.
