Minnesota Named The Best State For Young Homebuyers
This is interesting! Minnesota just claimed the top spot of a pretty important study, and it all has to do with buying a home.
I bought my first house last year and it was a super competitive market but strangely enough, I enjoyed the process from start to finish.

I might not be the only one because Minnesota was just named the top state for young homebuyers by Realtor.com.
The website made a top ten list of the best states for young homebuyers - beating out every other state in the country. Keep reading to find out why.

It looks like Minnesota is cool, because we came out on top, with the most homebuyers ages 35 and under at the moment. According to the report, Minnesota has a 50.8 percent homeownership rate for people 35 and under.
Why Minnesota Ranked So High
We all know what makes Minnesota so nice, pun intended, but why did we come in number one? According to this study, the Minnesota homebuying market is attractive because house prices tend to be lower than the national average.

Minnesota also allows for many job opportunities, which also helped boost Minnesota to the top spot because people ages 35 and under make more than the national average. Pairing a higher average salary and cheaper home prices, you get a magical combination it seems.
