Writing this when I am hungry was not a good idea! Yelp released their list of the 100 best restaurants in the country and no surprise - a Minnesota restaurant can be found near the top.

People don't really think of Minnesota as being a big foodie destination but it is. We have so many acclaimed restaurants all across the state, from the cities to Duluth and everywhere else within state limits.

Of course, everyone has different tastes. Some prefer a nice, juicy steak for dinner while others may want some Italian fare. Some places, though, are just simply undeniable.

That is the case with one Minnesota restaurant for sure, who now holds the title as one of the highest-rated restaurants in the country. Let's feast on this!

Yelp Names The 100 Best Restaurants In The Country - Here's How

No, this was not a list made up by staff. Instead, this list is made up of the highest-reviewed restaurants in the country. It doesn't matter if it is an expensive restaurant or a diner or hole-in-the-wall. The reviews are what speak here.

This is the 13th year that Yelp has released this list, making us hungry ever since! A restaurant in New York took the top spot but we aren't too far behind. This list definitely gives me a little travel inspiration.

Minnesota Steakhouse Named Among Top 15 Best Restaurants In The Country

Coming in at number 12 on this list? A restaurant in Minneapolis. The restaurant is named Porzana, and is an Argentinian Steakhouse in the North Loop area. According to Yelp, the restaurant has indoor and outdoor seating, is dog-friendly and has a near five-star rating across nearly 400 reviews.

Their menu looks incredible, as they use all prime beef. They also have oysters, a cold bar, snacks like empanadas and grilled prawns, pasta and so much more, Of course, the main attraction here is the steaks. Their desserts look incredible too. I have never seen a menu like this!

The restaurant is located at 200 North 1st Street. By the way, this is the only Minnesota entry on the list. Other things I learned? We are loving breakfast for lunch or dinner, have started eating sandwiches for dinner and 'grandma-core' is now a thing.

What does this mean? We are opting for old-fashioned cooking more than ever before, perhaps to take a little break from our fast-paced lives. Now I am REALLY hungry.
