Isle, MN (MinnesotaNow)- The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension has issued a statewide missing person alert for a teenage girl.

Authorities distributed the bulletin on Tuesday night on behalf of the Isle Police Department. The Minnesota teen was last seen on Tuesday morning.

Missing 17-Year-Old Girl Last Seen Near Lake Mille Lacs Believed to be in Twin Cities Area

17-year-old Lucinia Rosemarie Sam left her temporary residence in Isle, which is on the southeastern shore of Mille Lacs Lake, Tuesday morning, the alert says. 

Authorities suspect she may have traveled to the Twin Cities area.  Lucinia Sam is described as 5'5, 160 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. 

A clothing description is not available, however authorities say she wears glasses. 

Anyone with information regarding of Lucinia Sam’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Isle Police Department at 320-983-8257 or call 911.
