One additional item that I'd suggest all moms bringing when they go on adventures with their kids is a first-aid kit.  Pool decks can be slippery, falls can happen, or scrapes can occur in the pool as your kids are playing.  Having a band-aid ready at all times can help heal those cuts and scrapes even faster.
