Daytime gab fest 'The View' has been something of a revolving door lately, what with Elisabeth Hasselbeck getting the boot and Barbara Walters planning on retiring. In addition, Joy Behar is also leaving the show -- and it looks like Jenny McCarthy might replace her.

Is anyone else having painful 'Singled Out' flashbacks or is it just us?

A source, who basically said Jenny's VH1 talk show 'The Jenny McCarthy Show' is tanking, reports she's "definitely open" to joining the 'View' panel and "is in serious talks right now" to do so.

"The cast and crew get a kick out of Jenny," an insider shared about McCarthy's previous guest appearances on 'The View.' "She's a good fit. She may not be able to carry a show, but she works well with a group ensemble."

Behind the idea is 'View' co-host Sherri Shepard, who's voiced her support of McCarthy's inclusion, referring to her as "fearless."

We guess sexing up trees, attacking pop stars and getting into Twitter slapfights with Amanda Bynes will all make for good television.
