The Jonas Brothers Announced As One Of The 2023 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand Headliners
Fresh off the release of their new single "Waffle House" this spring, the Jonas Brothers have been announced as one of the headlining acts for the 2023 Minnesota State Fair's lineup of grandstand entertainment.
Organizers for the Minnesota State Fair shared the news Tuesday morning, highlighting the Minnesota stop as part of their 2023 tour, titled "Jonas Brothers: THE TOUR". This tour starts up on August 12 with two shows scheduled in the Bronx, New York, before heading up the East Coast on the opening leg of the tour.
The band is promoting this tour on their website with the slogan, "Five Albums. One Night.", which highlights that the tour will be similar to Taylor Swift's "Eras" tour and take a musical journey through the group's musical catalog.
This announcement also comes just before the release of the group's sixth studio album. The new release, called "The Album", is scheduled for release on May 12. Songs already released off this new album include their February release "Wings", and "Waffle House", which was released as a single at the beginning of April.
For fans hoping to see the JoBros at the Minnesota State Fair, there are a couple of dates to mark on your calendars.
The first is when the show actually is. The Jonas Brothers are slotted as the grandstand headliner for Friday, September 1, 2023. Showtime will be at 7 pm that evening. They join a roster of already-announced acts for the grandstand that includes The Black Keys, The Chicks, Keith Urban, Boyz II Men, Yung Gravy, and Duran Duran.
The second date of interest is when you can buy tickets. There's an opportunity to register for a verified fan presale. You can register now through the end of the day May 6 via a special page for this presale. The presale will happen on Tuesday, May 9 at 10 am. Tickets will be made available to the general public at 10 am on Friday, May 12, and can be purchased via the State Fair's website.
