The Minnesota Vikings just made a huge investment in wide receiver Justin Jefferson, and now Netflix is doing the same with a new docuseries.

Last year, Netflix featured former Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins in the docuseries 'Quarterback', now the producers of that show are expanding the brand with a new series cleverly called, 'Receiver'.

The trailer for 'Receiver' dropped today, and it looks like this new show will follow a similar format to 'Quarterback', with a mix of behind the scenes of day-to-day life, practice, and game day coverage. The series will also follow Detroit's Amon-Ra St. Brown, Las Vegas' Davante Adams and San Francisco's Deebo Samuel and tight end George Kittle.

Jefferson is featured heavily in the new trailer, with footage of the standout wide receiver in several different situations, including footage of him prepping for a game day saying that he has an alter ego that starts to take over, "You know, when I start putting these chains on, start putting the teeth in …"

Look for the new series to start streaming on Netflix starting on July 10th and will feature 8, 45-minute episodes, it has also been confirmed that Netflix is also working on season two of 'Quarterback'.

Jefferson just became the highest paid non-QB in the NFL, signing a four-year, $140 million contract, of which, $110 million is guaranteed. In the trailer for the new show, Jefferson says, "I never played to be the richest. I played because I love the game." Well now he can do both.

This series looks WAY more entertaining than 'Quarterback', while that series was good, let's face it, quarterbacks are like the dads of the NFL, very serious and "by the book", but the NFL wide receiver is a totally different bunch, flashy, fun, and full of personality.
