The Minnesota Timberwolves say that Karl-Anthony Towns was involved in a car accident.

The accident happened as Towns was on his way to the airport to catch a plane to New York for tonight's game against the Knicks.

Towns did not participate in shootaround this morning in New York and is listed as questionable for tonight's game.
