Another Popular Item in Minnesota Appears To Be Experiencing a Shortage
Looks like a shortage of a popular item has hit store shelves in Minnesota!
The last few months, consumers have been feeling the added stress due to threats of tariffs and price increases. Canned goods were expected to rise in cost, toy areas in stores may have a limited supply, and we have been told that a variety of electronics will see price tags go up.
A few months ago, we also felt that financial burden when egg prices soared. Several stores, like Costco and Target, put signs up that indicated they were now limiting the number of cartons consumers could purchase. I remember walking into several stores wanting to buy eggs but walking back out without any.
Now, it appears another issue has impacted at least one popular beverage item sitting on store shelves in Minnesota.

National Beverage Corp., based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is a beverage developer, manufacturer, and distributor for several products. According to Wikipedia, their most popular brands that they distribute are La Croix, Shasta, and Faygo. At the moment, there aren't any press releases or details shared by this company or others that are public about the "outage".
I'll be checking around other stores to see how their supply of La Croix is looking. In the meantime, if you know of a place that has the tangerine flavor, let me know.
