It is time to put your writing skill on the line for this year's writing contest. The Lake Superior Writers are looking for entries with this year's theme: “Rivers:  Mapped and Unmapped”

The stories can be either real or metaphorical. So start letting the creativity flow. There are also several categories for the contest: Poetry (up to three poems), Short-Short Fiction (500 words, up to two stories), Short Story (1,500 – 5,000 words,  up to two stories) and Creative Non-Fiction (1,500 – 5,000 words, up to two pieces).

The entry deadline is April 1, 2017 and the contest is free to enter. One winner will be selected from each category each winning a $250 prize and publication on the Lake Superior Writers website.
