Le Creuset is a big cookware company that has been around since 1925, almost 100 years. And this year they're doing something very unique: hosting secret dinner parties across the country, including one in Minnesota.

Le Creuset's Secret Dinner Parties

It's called La Carte by Le Creuset and it's only being held at three locations across the country. The first one was on June 20th in New York City. The second one is on August 8th in Santa Barbara, CA. And the final one is in Minneapolis on September 12th.

For each dinner party, you know the date, the time, and the city that it will take place in, but that's it.

Le Creuset Minneapolis Secret Dinner Party

Like I said, the one in Minneapolis is on September 12th. Tickets don't go on sale until August 12th and therefore there are no other details at this time for the Minnesota one. However, we can make some assumptions about the evening based on the Santa Barbara event coming up.

24 hours before the event you'll get the specific address for where you'll be dining the following evening. The cocktail hour will likely begin at 5 PM and then a five-course meal beginning at 6 PM. They say in total the event will last about 4 hours.

For the Santa Barbara event, they write that it "includes a local, seasonal, and sustainably designed menu" so I would imagine the same would be true for the Minneapolis event. They also say the meal is prepared by a 'Featured Chef'.

No one will know the chef or even the menu until you get there! But don't worry, you can specify any dietary restrictions when you buy tickets.

Doesn't that sound so fun?! Too bad it's really expensive. The Santa Barbara event costs $285 per person, and that doesn't include any alcoholic drinks you may have. Yikes. But if you have that kind of money, what an amazing experience.
