Veterans Day is Sunday, November 11th.  It is a federal holiday that falls on November 11th every year. Veterans Day celebrates the service of all U.S. military veterans.  Many local restaurants are honoring Veterans on or around Veterans Day by offering a free meal. 

A. Texas Roadhouse

Veterans can enjoy lunch from 11AM-2PM on Monday, November 12th. If you are a Veteran or Active Military Personnel, bring your military ID, Veterans Affairs Card, or discharge papers to select a free entree and soft drink or tea from their Veterans lunch menu.

B. Grand Casino Hinckley and Grand Casino Mille Lacs

To receive the free meal, military personnel will need to show their military or veteran ID card during normal business hours at any Grand Rewards Counter on Sunday, November 11th. They will then get a certificate to receive the free buffet.

The offer is valid at Grand Casino Mille Lacs from 10AM-3PM and again from 4-8PM — and at Grand Casino Hinckley from 9AM-3PM and again from 4-8:30PM.

C. Famous Dave's

On November 11th, in honor of Veterans Day, Famous Dave's would like to thank all former and current military personnel for their dedication and commitment to our country. Famous Dave's is offering a FREE Two Meat Salute - choose two different meats served with a Corn Bread Muffin and your choice of one side.

D. Applebee's

Applebee's is offering a free meal from their Veterans Day Signature menu for all Veterans and Active Duty Military on November 11th.  Must show proof of service.  Applebee's has three Northland locations.  Duluth on Miller Trunk Hwy., Tower Avenue in Superior, and Hwy 33 in Cloquet.

E. Grizzly's

On Sunday, November 11 both Grizzly's Superior and on Miller Trunk Hwy. in Duluth are showing their appreciation to our Veterans by giving them a free meal, up to $11.99.  Grizzly's in Canal Park would like to show their respect and offer a free meal ( up to 12.99 value) to all Veterans.
