Chachos Taqueria In Duluth’s Canal Park Set To Open For 2023 Season
If you're a fan of Mexican cuisine and enjoy Canal Park, you're in luck as Chachos Taqueria has announced its opening for the 2023 season.
A few years ago Chachos started as a pop-up shop a few doors down from the Caribou Coffee in Canal Park. According to their Facebook page, they are taking traditional favorites and putting their own spin on them.
I happened to be walking down in Canal Park last year and noticed a wonderful smell. They were serving up birria tacos. I was absolutely hooked and pleasantly surprised.
If you have never had a birria taco, it's a based off birria which is a savory beef stew with a spicy kick to it. It's slow-cooked until the meat is juicy and tender. Then someone had the idea to dip a soft taco shell into the stew and fry it up with the meat and cheese. Then you dip the taco in the stew.
Chachos posted an update that season two will drop on Friday, April, 14th, 2023. They also posted that there will be new tacos and expanded hours. The hours will be:
