Many Twin Ports Residents are at Risk for Lead Poisoning, Due to the Large Number of Older Homes and Buildings [VIDEO]

If your home or apartment was built before 1978, you and your family may be at risk to exposure from lead paint.

This week is " Lead Paint Awareness Week", and for some homeowners you could be surrounded by it and not even be aware of it. For young children the risk is even greater since they may be tempted to pick at or ingest paint chips full of lead.

According to a report from WDIO it is imperative that you get the paint in your home tested, but not to remove it yourself.
