Maren Morris has been added as a last-minute addition to the Minnesota State Fair lineup and we couldn't be more excited!

Maren will be headlining the Minnesota State Fair Grandstand on Friday, August 27th of 2021. An opening act will be announced at a future date.

The country star was not originally on the docket for this year's fair lineup but was added in early July. It wasn't until recently that the Minnesota State Fair announced that they were officially going forward with the big event this year.

Maren is a great addition to the lineup. She had one of the biggest hits in music as of late with The Bones and she will surely bring fans of all kinds together with her country-pop sound!

Tickets for the show go on sale on Wednesday, July 21st beginning at 10 a.m. our time. Ticket prices range from forty bucks to sixty-five bucks depending on where you want to sit. You can only purchase up to eight tickets at one time.

It has been awhile since Maren has been in Minnesota for a show! She was set to go on her own headlining tour pre-COVID but eventually pulled the plug on the entire thing as the pandemic got worse. Now, she is back at it and joining her fellow country stars in headlining the Minnesota State Fair!

Now, she is hard at work on her third album. She says it will take her back to the "Texas, rootsy style" she started out with. Maybe she will debut some new music on stage at the fair!

Miranda Lambert will also be headlining a show at the Minnesota State Fair, with Lindsay Ell as the opening act. She was originally set to perform in 2020 but the show had to be postponed when the Minnesota State Fair cancelled the event due to the pandemic. Thankfully, they rescheduled her show for this year! She will be playing the night before Maren.

Tim McGraw and Midland are two other country acts at the Minnesota State Fair this year! They will be performing on Wednesday, September 1st. They were also set to play the fair last year but since it didn't happen, they rescheduled the show for this year.

It is so nice to see concerts back for the second half of 2021! You can keep up with all the concerts coming to the Twin Ports and beyond with our concert calendar.
