Minnesota Mini Golf Course Named Second Best in United States
If there is one sport that is fun and accessible for most, it’s mini golf. Putting a ball on whimsical courses with creative holes is generally a good time with family and friends.
Minnesota is now home to one of the best mini golf courses in America. USA Today just released its list of the Top 10 best mini golf courses for 2025, and this course just landed in the #2 spot.

Voting Results Reveal a Minnesota Gem
Voting for the best mini golf courses in America opened last month, and after several weeks of submissions, the results are in. The top 10 has a variety of courses, from the more traditional to the absolutely wild, with over-the-top theming and memorable obstacles standing between the ball and hole.

Can Can Wonderland: A St. Paul Standout
Can Can Wonderland, located in St. Paul near the Minnesota State Fairgrounds, was just named the #2 best course in the country. USA Today says, “This award-winning 18-hole course comes straight out of the imaginations of its players.”
In its creation, Can Can Wonderland asked the public for ideas for the 18-hole course and then tapped local artists and engineers to make the selected holes come to life.
Creative Holes Bring the Fun
Holes include the “Natural Disaster,” in which players need to navigate a tornado, or “State Fair,” a hole where you need to get your ball to take a ride on a Ferris Wheel and down a slide to reach the end.
Can Can Wonderland’s mini golf course ends by sinking your ball into the Golden Throne. This hole requires players to send their ball up a ramp and into a golden toilet.
More Than Just Mini Golf
I recently visited Can Can Wonderland. I didn’t have a chance to play the course, but mini golf isn’t the only draw. For the price of admission, you get access to over 150 free-play arcade games and other attractions.
The admission fee varies throughout the week, from $10 to $16; mini golf is an extra $15 charge. They also have a tap wall, bar, and food, so if you go, plan to spend some time here. It’s a blast!
