One of the hottest trends across America is combining the charm of a café and the cuteness of cats, and Minnesota is home to a couple of America's best cat cafés.

The experience is a unique one: you can, of course, just go in and grab your favorite coffee or snack and take a quick look at the cats behind glass, or you can reserve some hands-on time with the rotating batch of adoptable cats.

Wired Whisker: Duluth's Purr-fect Spot

The Twin Cities isn't the only place in Minnesota to experience a cat café; Duluth is also home to one of the best in the country. Wired Whisker opened in 2024 and not only offers your standard café selections but also serves wine and a breakfast menu with options like breakfast burritos and pancakes.

Wired Whisker just happens to be celebrating its one-year anniversary this weekend with a big celebration on Saturday, May 31st, which will include live music, food, vendors, and, of course, plenty of cats to snuggle.

Voting is open until Monday, June 23rd, and the top 10 list will be released on Wednesday, July 2nd.
