Minnesota Company Recalls Tree Stands After 2 Injuries Reported
Alliance Outdoor Group is an outdoor hunting and recreation gear company based out of Lakeville Minnesota and have issued a recall of a certain type of tree stand. These are older tree stand models made in China and sold from May 2017-December 2018 at a variety of retail outlets across the country and online as well. You should stop using these tree stands immediately and contact Alliance Outdoor Products for a gift card refund. The price of these tree stands varied form $200-$300.
I myself have never gone deer hunting, but I do have a few friends that are avid hunters and I have always thought how nerve racking it would be to be up high in a tree on one of these stands. I am not a good judge of those though since I am afraid of heights. If you have a tree stand please check and make sure it is not one of the models listed in this recall, and spread the word to your fellow hunters.
