As the pandemic continues to wreak havoc all over the world many are hoping to  hear some kind of news about when they might be able to get vaccinated. One man named Adam Wiatrowski had an idea to to encourage others to get the vaccine and called it Courage Thru COVID.

So how is he able to get his message across? Through a lime green rubber bracelet that is meant to show that you have been vaccinated and to encourage others to do so as well. Wiatrowski has been in the healthcare field for his entire career, and when COVID-19 vaccine was approved the idea of the wristband came to him. The wristband is also is meant to show support for front line workers.

Our goal is to distribute them through hospitals, long-term care facilities, through pharmacy chains and have them give them to patients as they are vaccinated. We feel very comfortable that we can supply them probably faster than the vaccine can be supplied. We hope Pfizer, and Moderna, and the other drug companies can put us to the test with that, but as fast as they roll them out, we think we can roll them out.

To kick things off they plan to initially donate about 10,000 wrist bands to local hospitals in Minnesota with a total of 30,000 to be given away in all. I think this is a great way to show support for frontline health care workers and to show that they got the vaccine. Not enough thanks can be said to all frontline workers I could not imagine being in their shoes for even one day let alone for as long as they have been fighting to save so many lives.
