Last week, a driver in Minnesota was pulled over and arrested for driving under the influence, and you may be shocked to find out how high their blood alcohol content was.

The Carver County Sheriff's Office reports that last Wednesday night around 8:45 they got a report of a vehicle driving erratically all over the road on County Road 10 heading towards Waconia. When officers arrived in the area, they were able to find the driver with the help of a citizen caller.

The driver had pulled onto a side road, where Sheriff's Deputies were able to witness the unsafe driving and proceeded to pull the driver over, they immediately launched a DWI investigation, and the driver was ultimately arrested.

The Sheriff's Office says that the driver provided a "Preliminary Breath Test" or PBT, and the sample revealed that the driver was drunk, VERY drunk. The drivers' breath alcohol concentration was an astonishing .440, that would be over 5 times Minnesota's legal limit of .08.

According to the Cleveland Clinic, anything above .30% is likely alcohol poisoning, and is potentially life-threatening. At the levels this driver was at, it's a potentially fatal blood alcohol level, and could lead to a coma or risk of death from respiratory arrest.
