Duluth’s ‘Minnesota Monsters’ Football Team Hosting Kickoff Fan Rally Event

Duluth's arena football team is getting ready to kick off a whole new era with a March event at AMSOIL Arena that you're invited to!

While we got to know the team as the Duluth Harbor Monsters, the newly-named Minnesota Monsters are getting ready to kick off their first season with a new name, new logo, new league, and new Twin Ports area home field location this spring.

To celebrate, the team is hosting a public event on Tuesday, March 10, at AMSOIL Arena.

The Monsters launch their inaugural season in the Arena One Football League (AF1) in April at AMSOIL Arena, moving from the DECC arena for this season.

To celebrate all of the exciting changes and get amped up for the new season, the team is welcoming fans to join them at AMSOIL Arena for a free event to meet the team's owners, team leadership, coaches, and select players, see the team's new uniforms get unvieled, and enjoy some other hype-up pep rally festivities ahead of the team's first games of the season in April.

The team says meet-and-greet and photo opportunities will also be available, and for fans looking to score tickets for the upcoming season, there will also be a "Pick-A-Seat" special to claim your spot to watch games this season.

This will allow fans to select their season seats, in-person, at what the team says is a special event-only price for any available seat, excluding VIP boxes. Season tickets will be issued on-site at the event.

Doors for this Monsters kickoff event on March 10 will open at 4 pm, with a program starting at 4:25 pm. Festivities and the "Pick-A-Seat" promotion will wrap up at 7 pm.

The Minnesota Monsters start their first AF1 season on the road on April 11 against the Albany Firebirds. The team's first home game of the 2026 season is May 22, as the Monsters welcome the Nashville Kats to Duluth.
