Minnesota Residents Now Have an Extra Week to Sign Up for Health Insurance
The January 31st deadline to sign up for Health Insurance through MNSURE has now been extended a week, giving thousands of Minnesotans some extra time to get covered.
MNSURE announced on Saturday that they are now extending the deadline for open enrollment to February 8th. They want to give people more time to take advantage of the new law which was passed just days ago. This new law grants a 25% discount to those 125,000 or so Minnesota residents who buy insurance through MNSURE but, make too much money to qualify for tax credits that bring down the cost.
This new discount only applies to people that buy the insurance through MNSURE or an Insurance agent. For more information or to enroll in MNSURE CLICK HERE
