Minnesota State Fair Adds New Cheese Curd Tacos to 2022 Food Lineup
Until now, I wasn't planning on going to the Minnesota State Fair this year, but this new food added to the 2022 food roster has me rethinking that decision.
The Minnesota State Fair announced two new food vendors being added for the 2022 edition of the Great Minnesota Get-Together, one is Pickle Barrel Sirloin Tips, and the other is Richie’s Cheese Curd Tacos.
Pickle Barrel Sirloin Tips will be located outside the south side of the Food Building and will be offering fresh grilled steak tip dinners and steak pitas, both come with your choice of toppings which include sauteed onions, green peppers, and marinated mushrooms. Both options come with homemade mashed potatoes and fresh brewed iced tea.
But the food that caught my attention is Richie’s Cheese Curd Tacos, they will be offering either an Original Cheese Curd Taco which is a fried flour tortilla shell with diced
bratwurst, fried cheddar cheese curds, lettuce, and Baja sauce, or you can try the Box Checker Cheese Curd Taco, which is also served in a fried flour tortilla shell but with diced chicken, bacon, fried cheese curds, lettuce, and ranch sauce.
Richie’s Cheese Curd Tacos will be located near Pickle Barrel Sirloin Tips outside the south side of the Food Building. The Minnesota State Fair says that with these additions, there are a total of 10 new food vendors at this year's fair.
Here is a complete list of all the new foods coming to the Minnesota State Fair this year, some of the highlights include the Pickle Pizza, the Tot Dog, and Deep-Fried Ice Cream. What are you looking forward to trying at the fair this year?
