Minnesota State Patrol Reminds Residents To Clear Off Vehicles This Winter
We live in Minnesota, it's going to snow. The Minnesota State Patrol want to remind drivers to clear off their vehicles before driving so ice chunks don't fly off and cause more harm.
One driver was on Interstate 694 near Highway 3 when a large ice chuck flew off of a semitrailer this morning and came crashing into their windshield. Luckily the driver suffered minor injuries, but it could have been a lot worse.
The state Patrol shared the pictures on their Facebook page and to remind people that's it their responsibility to clear off the vehicle before hitting the road. Also pay attention in case ice or snow flies off vehicles in front of you. Drive safe this winter and it only takes a few minutes to clear off the snow.
