The Minnesota State Patrol posted a story on Facebook that will make most people cringe.

The trooper near Highway 169 in St. Peter stopped an 18-year-old girl who sped past his patrol car going 96 MPH!

The State Patrol says that "she was still video chatting on FaceTime with the friend she was going to pick up from Minnesota State University, Mankato. The teen giggled when the trooper explained the dangers of distracted driving and speeding. She was ticketed for careless driving."

The State Patrol says the teen's acts were "selfish and dangerous"...I couldn't agree more. Extra distracted driving enforcement is on Minnesota roads through April 30th.
