Minnesota Dog Bar Named Top 10 In US
Much like the cat café trend that spread across America, dog bars are becoming a popular option for pet owners who want to socialize and exercise their dogs at the same time.
USA Today held its annual Reader’s Choice Awards, and after weeks of voting, Minnesota is now home to one of the top 10 dog bars in the country, a place for pups to burn off steam (and sniff some butts), while their hooomans do the same, minus the sniffing, hopefully.

Minnesota’s Dog Bar Gets National Recognition
Minnesota’s first indoor/outdoor dog park, bar, and eatery—known for its slogan “Dog, Drinks, & Dining – All Under One Woof!”—has earned the #6 spot in the country.

Unleashed Hounds and Hops, located in Minneapolis' North Loop neighborhood, opened in early 2020 and has since grown into a local and national favorite.
They serve a variety of tap and canned beer, cider, and wine, plus a solid lineup of nonalcoholic drinks. The food menu includes appetizers, sandwiches, and even hot dogs, good luck keeping the pups away from those.
Daily passes for the dog park are $12, or $20 for two dogs (the maximum allowed per guest). You can also grab a five-visit pass for $50 or an annual pass for $425.
Special Events Keep the Fun Going
The bar also hosts weekly events, including breed-specific nights. This week features Hounds, and next week it’s all about German Shepherds. During the summer, they throw a doggy pool party on the last Saturday of each month.
