Minnesota’s First Pet Food Shelf Opened This Past Weekend

Not only are there food shelves for people, a new first ever pet food shelf opened up in South Minneapolis called 'People and Pet's Together'.

The ribbon was cut on sunday for the grand opening and the hope is that fewer people will have to give up their pets when they’re struggling financially. They will even provide name brand pet food such as Purina, Science Diet and more.

I think it's a wonderful idea. so many people struggle and the pets shouldn't suffer. I grew up my whole life with pets being members of the family, so I hope this pet food shelf won't be the last. Check out the video below and let me know what you think of a pet food shelf in the comments below.
