Atmosphere to Headline MN State Fair Grandstand

The Minnesota State Fair is just over 130 days away, and Grandstand concerts are slowly being announced. Another big show was just added today, and for fans of hip-hop, this is one night you won’t want to miss.

Who’s Already Playing the 2025 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand?

Before today’s announcement, five shows had already been revealed for the 2025 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand. The lineup includes country stars Old Dominion, rock legends Def Leppard and Steve Miller Band, a powerful duo performance from Melissa Etheridge and Indigo Girls, and a nostalgic Happy Together Tour featuring artists from the ‘60s and ‘70s.

Atmosphere & Friends Take the Stage in Minnesota

The newest addition to the lineup is “Atmosphere & Friends: Minnesota,” featuring Minneapolis-based Atmosphere, along with Cypress Hill, Lupe Fiasco, The Pharcyde, and DJ Abilities. The show is set for Saturday, August 23 at 5 PM, promising an evening filled with energy, nostalgia, and lyrical firepower.

Tickets will be available starting at 10 AM on Friday, April 11 through the official Minnesota State Fair website. Reserved seating will range from $51 to $75. General admission pit tickets are priced between $71 and $86, while access to the party deck will be available for $71 to $85.

For the first time, Atmosphere will take the Grandstand stage. The duo, made up of rapper Slug and producer Ant, has long represented Minneapolis on the national hip-hop scene, and now they’re bringing the celebration home.

Joining them are Cypress Hill, the California-based group known for iconic tracks like “Hits from the Bong” and “Insane in the Brain,” Chicago’s Lupe Fiasco, and the boundary-pushing West Coast crew The Pharcyde.
