Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minnesota State High School League will limit the amount of attendees at upcoming State Tournaments. This begins on Friday, March 13th. Plans for events after this weekend are still being developed and will be communicated at a later date. Tournament events include Girls Basketball Semifinals and Finals, the Adapted Floor Hockey Tournament, and Section Boys Basketball games.

The MSHSL is relying on information from the Minnesota Department of Health. All state and section brackets will be played. Consolation and third place games have been cancelled.

Only rostered participants, coaches, event staff, TV network partners, credentialed media, and a small number of school approved spectators will be allowed to the tournament.

They also advise that anyone attending the tournaments to avoid contact with anyone who is experiencing respiratory issues or fever. They must also follow recommendations on personal hygiene.

They encourage fans to follow the tournament through broadcast, streaming, and social media. Updates on this situation and any developments can be found on their website.
