Love Music From The Early 2000’s? ‘My 00’s Playlist’ Tour Coming To Minnesota This December
If you love yourself some throwback music from the early 2000's, this concert coming to Minnesota is right up your alley!
Announced earlier this week, Target Center will host the "My 00's Playlist" Tour, with four big-name acts from the hip hop and R&B scene from the era already announced - with more announcements on the way!
I think this is super exciting. There have been a number of 80's and 90's throwback tours that have been a lot of fun through the years, but we're now getting a tour for the next generation, focusing on big names from the early years of this century.
It's hard to believe it's already been 20 years since some of these songs made their debut, but there's a lot to still love about them!

Who is performing at the "My 00's Playlist" show?
The information Target Center provided about this show highlights more artists will be announced in the lead-up to the show, but here is who has been announced so far:
Nelly
Hitting the scene in 2000 with his debut album "Country Grammar", Nelly owned the charts with hits like "Ride Wit Me", "Hot In Herre", and even had crossover success working with country musicians like Tim McGraw and Florida Georgia Line over his career.
Ashanti
Breaking out in 2002 wit her #1 hit "Foolish", Ashanti had a number of big hits as a solo artist, also collaborating with the likes of Fat Joe, Fabolous, Nelly, and Ja Rule on hit singles. Speaking of Ja Rule...
Ja Rule
He's going to be there too! He has to be doing a song or two with Ashanti, right? Ja Rule and Ashanti collaborated on a handful of songs like hit singles "Mesmerize" and "Always On Time". Even beyond those collaborations, Ja Rule has a deep catalog of great songs that would be fun to see (or see again) live!
T.I.
That's right - Tip is rounding out the lineup! T.I. Came on to the scene early in the 2000's with songs like "24s" and "Rubber Band Man", climbing to the top of the charts with hits like "What You Know", "Whatever You Like", and collaborations with Justin Timberlake (Dead and Gone) and Rihanna (Live Your Life).
