It's Halloween time and if you're looking for a good scary movie to watch, here are my top 5.

    A Nightmare on Elm Street

This horror classic will have you on the edge of your seat,  Freddy Krueger is one of the best characters in the horror genre and always freaks me out when he's on the screen.

    Hellraiser

This movie is so damn creepy; Hellraiser is about a sexual deviant who inadvertently opens a portal to hell when he plays with a box he bought. Opening the box summons the Cenobites' and their leader Pinhead.

    Faces of Death

Faces of Death is a pseudo-documentary that shows scenes of gruesome deaths both real and re-enacted. I vividly remember watching this at a sleepover when I was maybe 11 or 12 and scared the $%#& out of me. Watching the trailer could give you nightmares, so be warned before clicking on the play button above.

    The Universal Monsters

It was hard for me to pick just one, so I'm picking all the Universal Monsters as my #2. Dracula, Frankenstein, The Mummy, The Invisible Man, The Wolf Man, and Creature from the Black Lagoon are all classic horror films and should be watched by anyone who loves the genre.

    Scream

I may get ripped for this, but that's fine, Scream is my favorite horror film of all-time. It isn't particularly scary or gross, but it is a fun movie. Scream is about a serial killer, Ghostface, who stalks and kills high school kids. The movie was unique for its comedy and its acknowledgment of past horror films and the cliches often found within them.
