New Attractions and Rides for 2024 Minnesota State Fair Announced
Each year the Minnesota State Fair adds a handful of new attractions, rides and amenities for fair goers, here is what's in store for 2024.
The Minnesota State Fair does a great job of spacing out all the announcements of what's ahead for each year's Great Minnesota Get-Together, and the final one covers all the new stuff that isn't concerts or food for the fair ahead.

New Official App
The Minnesota State Fair is launching a new mobile experience, the new smartphone app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store, or from the Google Play Store, the app will provide fair goers with all the information they'll need to navigate a day at the fair, from the food finder to the daily schedule of special events, the app will cover it all.
Cats & Dogs The Exhibition
A new interactive exhibit will take visitors into the minds of our furry, four-legged friends, 'Cats & Dogs The Exhibition' will explore the behavior of cats and dogs in a sensory filled exhibit that is free with fair admission.
Two New Midway Rides
The Minnesota State Fair's Mighty Midway will have two new rides for 2024, 'The Kraken' is a huge pendulum-style flat ride that stands 80-feet tall with a swinging arm that reaches a height of 147-feet. 'The Defender' is a propeller type ride that will spin riders like they're attached to the tip of an airplane propeller, don't stand below this ride.
New Touring Promotional Exhibits
Several large businesses will bring some promotional exhibits to the Minnesota State Fair this year, including BUBBL'R, Idahoan Mash-A-Bowl, Saputo Black Creek Cabin, will all be there handing out samples. Plus, Red Bull will stop by with their Showrun F1 Car. Check here for dates and times of appearances.
New Vendors
One of the fun things to do at the Minnesota State Fair is shop, and this year the fair is adding lots of new vendors including 7 craft vendors, 7 food related vendors, 5 new fashion and accessory vendors, 8 new vendors selling gifts and souvenirs, 7 new outdoor and entertainment vendors, and 5 new community oriented vendors.
