New Electric Car Charging Station is Available in Sturgeon Lake [VIDEO]

According to WDIO this is the third charging station available to drivers on the I-35 corridor between Duluth and the Twin Cities. This latest charging station is one of the fastest available and can fully charge your car in 25-30 minutes.

I know someone in Duluth that has an electric car that he purchased this summer and he had said he only drives it around town because he would not have enough juice to risk driving to and from the Twin Cities, but now that may change.

With this type of a charge most vehicles can go 200 miles on a full charge. The average cost of an electric car is  car is around $35,000 and the cost to recharge is around $5.00 or less. But with these vehicles becoming more popular in the future the price will most likely be competitive with regular vehicles.
