Are you playing it safe with your usual dinner spot, or are you looking to impress with something a little more unique this year?

To find the most enchanting hidden gems across the country, thousands of diners were surveyed by Zinfandel Grill - and Minnesota didn’t just make the list, it landed two spots!

Two Hidden Gems Now Most Romantic Restaurants in Minnesota:
The first Minnesota restaurant not only ranked among the best under-the-radar date night destinations, but it was also recently named the best restaurant in the entire state by MSN.
Oro by Nixta - a full service masa kitchen in Minneapolis dedicated to promoting corn from overlooked side dish to star of the show, one bite at a time.
Truly an ideal dining experience. I cannot decide which is more beautiful the art or the food. The flavors are fresh (camote is a must have), the menu is friendly for dietary needs & the staff is warm & answers every question with patience. Can’t wait to return! - Amber on Google Reviews
The other restaurant was rated slightly higher on Zinfandel Grill's list. It's a cute little spot nestled in St. Paul that opened in 2021 and has been featured in magazines and national write-ups.
The dinner I had at Myriel is one of the best dining experiences of my life so far! This restaurant truly blew me out of the water—from the absolutely incredible food to the exceptional service and wonderful atmosphere. The meal was faultless and I can say with confidence this was the best dining experience I've had to date in the Twin Cities. I would highly (HIGHLY!) recommend Myriel for your next special dinner. - Ariel on Google Reviews.
Karyn Tomlinson, the mastermind behind Myriel, blends a world of influences into her intimate restaurant.

Food & Wine Magazine describes her style as a blend of French-inspired cooking, local Nordic flavors, and the resourceful traditions of her Swedish immigrant farming roots in Minnesota.
