Panera Bread Recalls Cream Cheese Over Listeria Worries
According to CNN the chain was issuing a voluntary recall after samples of one of it's cream cheese products showed a positive result for Listeria monocytogenes bacteria.
This bacteria can be very dangerous for pregnant women and their unborn child which can cause a fever and diarrhea. Panera is recalling all 2 and 8 oz. cream cheese products with an expiration date on or before the second of April 2018 (4/2/18).
Tests on cream cheese samples before and after this date have all come back negative.
